Rewards & Prize Giving
This year’s Prize Giving recognised the achievements of many pupils at Coedcae school.
Amongst them the following pupils received recognition for Outstanding Academic Achievement at Key Stage 3. For the boys it was a tie between Sam Wesley and James Williams and for the girls a tie between Hannah Kirby and Ellie Dainton.
At Key Stage 4, the best overall GCSE results were gained by Luke Colquhoun and Isaac Ellum for the boys and Sophie Latham for the girls. In addition to GCSEs both Isaac Ellum and Matthew Jennings sat an A level in Mathematics with Matthew achieving an A* and Isaac an A.
For Sporting Achievement, we have Tennessee Randall who not only received awards for hockey and athletics, but is World Kickboxing Champion in her age group.
Matthew Alderman gained the award for Work Experience. Not only was he commended on his mature attitude to work, the employer was so impressed that he was offered Matthew a part-time job with the company.
Above is only a very small selection of pupils and their achievements, there are many more, far too numerous to mention here, and the staff at Coedcae are proud of each and every one of them.
