The Geography department has 3 dedicated teaching rooms.
Geography is taught across the school by 4 members of staff.

The Geography department teaches pupils about local places, global issues, current events, environmental issues, giving pupils an understanding about their place in the world.
Year 7 Topics
- Town and Country – the differences between living in towns and the countryside
- Rich and Poor – the differences in economic development between different places
- Threatened Environments – the location of these environments and how they change in the future
Year 8 Topics
- The Physical World – the processes and characteristics of rivers
- The Hazardous world – the causes and impacts of volcanoes and earthquakes
Year 9 Topics
- People and the Planet- population changes and movements
- People as Consumers – the impacts on and changes in economic activity
- Tomorrows Citizens – issues of living in Wales and being a global citizen.
The GCSE taught is examined by the WJEC with an Exam in Year 10 and coursework and an Exam in Year 11.
